Digital Desktop Organizer
Today I wanted to share a helpful tip & something that might save your sanity if you do a lot of computer work: The digital desktop organizer. 🙂
I know lots of us use computers at home or at our jobs, and sometimes we have so many things on our desktops that it can make us a little crazy.
For me, during busy seasons, I can have tons of folders on my desktop at one time, and the constant searching for what I need can get a little frustrating; especially when I try to manage my time as efficiently as possible. For the last year (probably more, I don’t really know) I have been using a desktop organizer that I made, and it has been a time saver!
I hate having a cluttered desktop, and this makes things so much easier, and keeps me at peace 😉
The coolest thing about it? I can customize it however I want. When I originally made my desktop organizer, I had my boxes labeled a bit differently, and my background image was different. I have changed both the wording in my boxes and the background image a few times since, but the way it’s set up now works really well for me.
Now I know some of you are thinking that there is no way you can make something like this. If you’re not photoshop savvy, you can totally buy something similar to this on etsy. Just be aware, because some of the ones you purchase are already made and the only way to customize them to your liking would be through photoshop, but I’m sure you can purchase customized ones as well.
If your desktop is already organized enough, but you’re looking for a serene and tranquil desktop background that will make your day at work a little better and will put your mind at ease, the wonderful people over at Buzzfeed have put together a few different blogs about them. If you scroll far enough through their blog, you can find the background I used.
